The dawning of a new area begins with the San Angelo Chorus’s inaugural concert. The performance will underscore the theme of light, hope, and new beginnings. Pieces composed and arranged by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Susan LaBarr, Dan Forrest, Craig Hella Johnson, and Shawn Kirchner will be presented along with Randol Alan Bass’s Gloria as the centerpiece.

Northern Lights

Join the San Angelo Chorus for a Sing-a-long of your favorite carols. The concert will also showcase selections from George Frideric Handel’s Messiah, in addition to fresh arrangements of popular Holiday pieces.

Twilight

Inspired by Gabriel Fauré and dedicated to his late father, John Rutter’s Requiem remains one of the most beloved masterworks performed today. Joined by Soprano Dr. Jessica Rosas Posada and chamber orchestra, the San Angelo Chorus presents Requiem

City of Stars

May 7, 2023

The season finale will showcase our San Angelo Chorus members as soloists, duos, and ensemble members performing their favorite Broadway, Disney, and popular tunes.

 


Times & Locations

All performances of our inaugural season will be held in the Brooks & Bates Theater of the San Angelo Performing Arts Center.

All performances will begin at 7:00 PM.
